This striking stoneware urn has an original landscape that continues all around the pot. It shows a river in early spring, just after the first thaw. There is a majestic white pine on one side. It can be displayed diagonally or face on, and can be placed outdoors.
The urn holds over 9 cups, the cremation ashes of a person up to 300 lbs. It could contain the aquamation remains of a 225 lb. adult. As a pet urn, it would accommodate a pot-bellied pig, Great Dane, Mastiff or Newfoundland dog. It has a 5” square base, is almost 12” high, and has a 3.5” square top.
All the glazes I use are formulated by me, in my studio; some you won’t find anywhere else! It is lined with a clear glossy glaze.
