This full sized raku urn displays a beautiful butterscotch crystalized nautilus (ammonite), a fossilized seashell, about 2 million years old. The body and lid of this urn are satiny black waxed raku.
The urn is about 12 inches high and 7 inches wide and has a 3.5 inch base. It holds the contents of a standard temporary cremation container, or a generous 8 cups.
